Jerusalem Mayor meets Moscow Media & Travel Trade

20 SEP 2012 12:30. Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat held a press conference at Interfax news-centre in Moscow for the travel media. This was the occasion to focus the attention of the media to the changing image of Jerusalem and the wealth of its touristic offer for the different segments of the market, including the MICE one. The travel media were invited by the permanent Russian representation of the Jerusalem Development Authority,  rm consultants russia with its newly contracted media office "Point PR" with Anna Lisovets as account manager.

20 SEP 2012 18:00. In the evening Mayor Barkat met with a representative panel of travel professionals from Moscou (boutique agenices, MICE operator, up-market operators, Israel specialized operators). The travel trade was invited by rm consultants russia in behalf of the Jerusalem Development Authority. The discussion was very open and Mayor Barkat could lead a direct dialogue with the professionals and many themes were evoked like the potential for MICE and up)market tourism which is due to develop at greater pace in the coming years with the infrastructure of the destination adapting to these segment year after year.
